Meditation centers started Zoom Meditation sessions for businesses as an immediate response to measures exercised to stop the scope of COVID-19. When the official announcement of pandemic measures was made, companies opted for Work from home, where employees had to work remotely. Due to remote work, companies dropped all mindfulness classes and programs, thus creating a void for employees. The concept of Zoom Online Meditation Classes came into effect; meditation classes are needed more than ever these days. Although there were meditation classes available via apps, YouTube, and other avenues, numerous employees still relied on the meditation classes & programs offered to them by the employers. Placing Meditation classes on hold would be detrimental due to the stress and fear the pandemic brought.

The companies against it felt that Meditation Classes could only be fruitful if taught to employees in person. Besides, some of these same companies demanded time to recognize that the COVID-19 effects on enterprises were not short-term, but businesses needed to start looking at the long-term well-being of their employees.

Companies did not take too long to recognize the benefits of Zoom meditation classes. Companies realize fewer disturbances with Zoom presentations than would typically be encountered in in-person teaching.

No limit to the number of participants joining the session is the most significant advantage of teaching via Zoom. Zoom Meditation Classes typically range somewhere around 15–200+ people. With in-office meditation sessions, space turns out to be a constraint. Only a few corporate are there to allow for such large classes, whereas others typically allow 5 to 50 people in in-person classes.

All the standard elements that negatively impact an in-person Meditation class, namely showing up late, telephones ringing, the sound of people walking above or below, to name a few, are eliminated from Zoom classes. Moreover, one not only can attend the Zoom session computer or laptop, use a tablet, iPad but can also access it from Smartphone.

Conclusion

The best part of Zoom sessions is that the participants don’t even have to connect to the Internet as they can directly call in from their phones. Businesses must take a turn towards Zoom meditation classes to offer meditation sessions for the well-being of their employees and normalize in such a tender situation.
